General Instructions to Participants

Please read carefully the information given here before proceed with the expo registration.
The overall participation process flow is divided into Three (3) phases.
Phase 1 is the Expo Registration. Expo registration is open from 1st September 2021 until 27th October 2021 (11:59 PM Malaysian Time).
Phase 2 is the Expo Poster, Video and Payment Submission. Expo poster, video and payment submission is open from 1st September 2021 until 31st October 2021.
Phase 3 is the Expo Evaluation and Result Announcement. The expo evaluation will begin from 5th November 2021 until 8th November 2021. The result will be announced on 15th November 2021 at 12.00 PM MYT in In-ViDE 2021 website. E- certificates and prizes will be sent to the participants and the winners from 15th November 2021 onwards(shipment subjected to the delay due to Movement Control Order).
Any amendments to the registration details, the participants are not required to fill new registration form. Participants can email to In-ViDE 2021 Secretariat (vide.sekretariat@unimap.edu.my ) with Subject: Registration Amendment [Product Code]. Inventors are required to state the correction/modification needed clearly in the email. Please take note that any amendment may take up to 1 – 2 working days. Once the amendments are completed, the successful notification will be made via email. Amendments are allowed to be made only from 1st September 2021 until 30th October 2021. After the final amendment date, no amendment will be entertained.
There will be NO discount given for bulk registration.
There will be NO limitation product number per inventor.

Phase 1: Expo Registration Steps

There are three registration forms for the three different levels (Young Inventor, Junior Inventor and Inventor). Click the appropriate registration form link.

In the registration form, choose the respective Inventor Level. The Inventor Level and conditions are presented in Table 1. The conditions for both, First Inventor Age and Video Presenter Age must be met to complete registration for the respective levels. Any registration under the Young Inventor and Junior Inventor levels that does not meet the conditions, will automatically be registered under Inventor level and the participant required to pay Inventor level fees. At an instance the participant is reluctant to pay the required fee, his/her registration will be considered nullified.

Fill up all personal particulars in the provided forms. All questions with asterisk (*) are compulsory to be filled. Please make sure the information provided, especially contact numbers and email address are valid for communication purposes. Once done, click Next to be directed to the next page.

Choose the correct Innovation Category. Only One (1) category is allowed per entry.

Type the Innovation Product name. Make sure the innovation product name is without error before proceeding further.

Fill the other Inventors Name. Only a maximum of Seven (7) inventors can be registered for an innovation product, including First Inventor and Mentors (for Young Inventor and Junior Inventor levels) registered in Page 1 of the registration form.

Once the provided information is checked, click Submit.
